Micro-morphological characteristics,microscopic identification,and research of Selaginella doederleinii Hieron and its confusable species
摘要
Abstract
Objective To explore identification methods for Selaginella doederleinii Hieron and its confusable species(Selaginella delicatula and Selaginella labordei).Methods Identification techniques of Chinese medicines,including morphological identification,micro-morphological identification,and microscopic identification,were employed.Instruments such as stereomicroscopes and optical microscopes,along with digital imaging technology,were utilized to conduct a comparative identification of Selaginella doederleinii Hieron(Selaginella doederleinii Hieron and Selaginella moellendorffii Hieron)and its confusable species(Selaginella delicatula and Selaginella labordei).Results Selaginella doederleinii Hieron(Selaginella doederleinii Hieron and Selaginella moellendorffii Hieron)and its confusable species(Selaginella delicatula and Selaginella labordei)exhibited differences in morphological characteristics such as the arrangement pattern and morphology of lateral leaves on the branches.Distinct disparities were also observed in micro-morphological features,including the shape of the lateral leaf margins,the uniformity of surface protrusions on the upper surface,and the distribution of stomata.Moreover,significant variations were noted in microscopic characteristics,such as the cross-section of the stem and the structure of microspores and megaspores.Conclusion The research findings provide an identification basis for the quality control of Selaginella doederleinii Hieron(Selaginella doederleinii Hieron and Selaginella moellendorffii Hieron)and its correct clinical application..关键词
