山羊GLIS3和POU3F4基因多态性与产羔性能的关联分析
Association Analysis of GLIS3 and POU3F4 Polymorphisms with Kidding Performance in Goats

Abstract
The aim of this study was to analyze the polymorphisms of GLIS3 and POU3F4 genes in three different goat breeds(Yunshang Black goats,Jining Grey goats,Liaoning Cashmere goats)and their association with kidding perfor-mance in goats.Using MassARRAY®genotyping technology,five candidate loci(GLIS3 g.40506054C>T,g.40506051C>T,g.40221045G>C,g.40221044A>C and POU3F4 g.6229283T>G)in both genes were examined to explore their ge-netic characteristics in three goat populations and their association with the kidding performance of Yunshang Black goats,including traits such as litter size,birth weight,and weaning litter weight.The results showed that all the five loci exhi-bited moderate to low polymorphisms in the three goat breeds.In Jining Grey goats and Liaoning Cashmere goats,the GLIS3 gene locus g.40506054C>T displayed a highly significant difference between the two breeds(P<0.01),and the g.40506051C>T locus showed a significant difference(P<0.05).In Yunshang Black goats,the GLIS3gene locus g.40506054C>T CC genotype had a significantly higher birth weight compared to the CT genotype and TT genotype(P<0.05),while the g.40221044A>C locus showed that the AC genotype had a significantly higher litter size than the AA genotype(P<0.05);for the POU3F4 gene,the GT genotype had a significantly higher weaning weight compared to the TT genotype(P<0.05).In conclusion,the GLIS3 gene g.40506054C>T locus,g.40221044A>C locus,and the POU3F4 gene g.6229283T>G locus could serve as potential molecular markers for birth weight,litter size,and weaning litter weight in goats.关键词
