Abstract
The occurrence of Sub-synchronous oscillation(SSO)in power systems is becoming increasingly frequent,significantly threatening the stability of the grid.Therefore,it is important to achieve rapid and accurate tracing of SSO source.However,SSO occurs at higher frequencies compared to low-frequency oscillations,requiring higher-frequency sampling data to ensure accuracy of the analysis.This requirement significantly increases the computational burden.Therefore,traditional centralized computing methods face significant challenges in real-time computation and communication.To fill this gap,a distributed collaborative method for the forced SSO source tracing is proposed in this paper.A hierarchical distributed system framework is constructed to trace the forced SSO source in power systems.It defines the roles and responsibilities of SSO measurement terminals,local layer substations(LLS),and central layer main stations.Then,an adaptive cooperation mechanism among local layer substations is developed,where measurement data are collected and processed locally.Based on an average consensus algorithm to exchange a small amount of energy information,the fast collaborative tracing of SSO source is achieved.The distributed collaborative method greatly reduces the data transmission and computational pressure on control centers/main stations,providing algorithmic support for fast and accurate tracing of SSO source.关键词
