Chance-constrained Economic Dispatch Method for Distribution Networks With AC Feasibility and Operational Security Guarantees

Abstract
Recently,the increasing deployment of distributed renewable energy sources(RESs)in distribution networks has introduced considerable challenges to economic dispatch.The uncertainty of RESs poses the risk of violating the system constraints in distribution network.The key to overcoming these challenges is to accurately characterize the uncertainty propagation and operation behavior constraints in economic dispatch.This paper proposes a chance-constrained economic dispatch method for distribution networks with AC feasibility and operational security guarantees.First,the uncertainty propagation characteristic in distribution network is derived.On this basis,the paper proposes an iterative chance-constrained economic dispatching algorithm for distribution networks considering AC feasibility.Then,the paper proposes a fast correction method for the error introduced by the analytical reformulation of chance constraints.Based on three-point estimation(TPE)and Cornish-Fisher expansion(CFE),a fast correction approach for uncertainty margin(UM)is presented,which can effectively reduce the probability of violating system constraints.Meanwhile,a UM correction coefficient for adjusting the robustness of the solution is introduced,ensuring the operational security of distribution network.The cases study shows that the proposed method enables the economical operating of distribution network and the system constraints can be satisfied with a specified probability,ensuring the AC feasibility and the operational security of the distribution network.关键词
