Questionnaire on Eradication Program of Avian Leukosis in White-feathered Broilers in Shandong Province
摘要
Abstract
In order to investigate the implementation of eradication program of avian leukosis(AL)in white-feathered broilers in Shandong Province,a questionnaire survey was conducted from June to September 2024,involving 260 farms(including 15 grandparent farms,65 parent farms and 180 commercial farms)in 16 prefecture-level cities in the province.The results showed that the eradication was well done on the grandparent and parent farms,but lagged on commercial farms,mainly in areas such as site selection and layout,management of breeding and introduction,progress in eradication and biosafety disposal.It was therefore recommended to improve overall capability of disease prevention and control through strengthening scientific site selection and layout,optimizing monitoring and supervision for introduced animals,comprehensively implementing the eradication,and establishing an AL monitoring network across the province,with a view to providing a reference and technical support for sustainable and further eradication of diseases on genetic poultry farms.关键词
