Abstract
President Xi Jinping has stated,"Chinese modernization is deeply rooted in the rich heritage of Chi-na's fine traditional culture."This statement underscores the strong theoretical support that China's fine tradi-tional culture provides for Chinese modernization.Guided by the important theory of the"Two Integrations"("liangge jiehe",referring to integrating Marxism with China's reality and with fine traditional culture),this paper systematically explains how fine traditional culture is creatively integrated into the theoretical framework of Chinese modernization across three dimensions:the free development of individuals, the harmonious coexistence of humanity and nature, and the modernization of social governance.Specifically,at the individual level,it in-volves fusing the concept of"the unity of man and nature"(tian ren he yi)with the Marxist theory of human e-mancipation.At the natural dimension, the philosophy of"Dao follows nature"(dao fa zi ran)is embodied in the scientific principle that"lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets."At the societal level,it means discarding the passive,laissez-faire aspects of the idea of"governing by non-interference"(wu wei er zhi)and transforming them into a people-centered governance logic.Using Marxist methodology as the analyti-cal framework, these three dimensions together demonstrate how the theory of Chinese modernization has, while highlighting the contemporary value of traditional culture, achieved both the inheritance and the transcendence of fine traditional culture.关键词
