Abstract

Objective To understand the current status and explore the interrelationship among the level of collaboration,be-havioural integration and team performance of family doctor teams,and provide references for improving family doctor team per-formance and service ability.Methods A total of 888 family doctor team members were chosen from one district/county-level city in the east,middle,and west of Shandong Province by using cluster sampling method,respectively,and surveyed by question-naires.The relationship among family doctor collaboration level,behavioral integration,and team performance was analyzed by structural equation modelling.Results The average score for the level of teamwork,behavioural integration,and team performance of family doctor team members was 86.55(total score 95),47.80(total score 63),and 40.47(total score 50),respectively.There had significantly positive effect for family physician teamwork on team performance,behavioural integration on team perform-ance,and teamwork on behavioural integration,with direct effect value of 0.377,0.492,and 0.818,respectively(P<0.001).The level of teamwork indirectly affected team performance through behavioural integration,with an indirect effect value of 0.403(P<0.001).Conclusion The performance of family doctor teams is generally good,with a high level of teamwork,but there is more room for improvement in behavioural integration.Teamwork and behavioural integration have a positive effect on team per-formance.It is recommended to improve incentives,promote labour division and enhance the team's service capacity.
