Abstract
Objective:To explore the effect of Liraglutide combined with Empagliflozin and Metformin in the treatment of elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with cardiovascular autonomic neuropathy(CAN).Method:Ninety elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with CAN admitted to Affiliated Rehabilitation Hospital of Nanchang University from January 2023 to January 2024 were included in this prospective study.They were randomly assigned to either the Empagliflozin group(n=44)or the Liraglutide group(n=46)based on the random number table method.The Empagliflozin group received Empagliflozin plus Metformin Hydrochloride Tablets,while the Liraglutide group was treated with Liraglutide on the basis of the Empagliflozin group.The CAN-related indicators,blood glucose metabolism indicators,the degree of visceral fat accumulation,heart and kidney damage-related indicators and the occurrence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Result:After 12 weeks of intervention,the standard deviation of all normal to normal RR intervals(SDNN)and the root mean square of successive differences in RR intervals(RMSSD)in the Liraglutide group were higher than those in the Empagliflozin group(P<0.05).After 12 weeks of intervention,the levels of glycosylated hemoglobin,fasting blood glucose and 2 h postprandial blood glucose in Liraglutide group were lower than those in Empagliflozin group(P<0.05).After 12 weeks of intervention,the body weight,waist circumference and body fat rate of the Liraglutide group were lower than those of the Empagliflozin group(P<0.05).After 12 weeks of intervention,triglyceride,low density lipoprotein cholesterol and N-terminal B-type natriuretic peptide in Liraglutide group were lower than those in Empagliflozin group,and estimated glomerular filtration rate was higher than that in Empagliflozin group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Liraglutide combined with Empagliflozin and Metformin is helpful to improve SDNN,RMSSD and heart and kidney damage-related indicators in elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with CAN,and regulate blood glucose metabolism,reduce their body weight,waist circumference and body fat rate,and do not increase the incidence of adverse reactions.关键词
