摘要
Abstract
As the awareness of animal welfare in our society has been increasing,animal welfare education has become an extremely important part of veterinary education,which is related to the health of humans,animals,and ecological systems.As a mandatory course for veterinary students and a part of their job responsibilities,animal welfare education is the foundation for achieving the concept of"One Health",and veterinary students need to have a deep understanding of the physiological and psychological needs of animals and implement animal welfare in practice.Although progress has been made in animal welfare education in China,it still faces many challenges,including the lack of systematic courses,limited practical opportunities,and inadequate teaching staff.To improve the quality of education,this article proposes a number of suggestions,including course development,textbook writing,practical education,innovation in teaching methods,and training of faculty,aimed at enhancing the quality of education to cultivate veterinary talents with knowledge and skills in animal welfare,promoting animal welfare and sustainable development,promoting widespread recognition of animal rights,safeguarding public health and human health.关键词
