成都市老年人口眩晕现状调查研究
Investigation on the status of vertigo in the elderly population in Chengdu

Abstract
This study aims to investigate the current status of vertigo among the elderly population in Chengdu and develop a targeted prevention and management model.Using a convenience sampling method,300 elderly individuals aged 50 and above from five communities in Chengdu were selected as subjects.Through questionnaires,vertigo assessment scales,and bedside vestibular function tests,along with a pre-survey optimized research protocol,vertigo-related condi-tions were analyzed.The results showed that among 284 valid samples,68.7％tested positive on bedside vestibular func-tion tests,and 24.3％had or previously had vestibular symptoms.The age group over 80 years had the highest rates of positive vestibular function tests(85.7％)and vestibular symptom occurrence(37.1％),with a significant difference in positive rates across age groups(P=0.033).Among the 69 cases with vestibular symptoms,52.2％reported dizziness and headache,46.4％had hypertension,and only 15.9％had sought medical consultation.Based on the findings,an"In-ternet+Integrated Elderly Care"collaborative model involving"hospitals-primary medical institutions-communities"was constructed.This model utilized the"Scientific Ear Care"public platform and the"Vertigo Data Management Database"website for science dissemination and data management,along with community science lectures,establishment of vertigo health records,and referral green channels,collectively covering 5,000 elderly people.These efforts improved awareness of vertigo prevention and treatment and optimized the allocation of medical resources.The study innovatively integrates multidisciplinary approaches,providing a practical reference for the prevention and treatment of vertigo in the elderly through"Internet+Integrated Elderly Care".关键词
