Empowering urban underground transportation planning with geological surveys:Approaches and prospects

Abstract
As megacity underground transportation infrastructure transitions from"scale expansion"to"geological adaptation,"scientific coordination between geological conditions and engineering requirements has become critical for high-quality development.This paper systematically reviews the historical evolution of underground transport planning both domestically and globally,highlighting the pivotal role of geological survey technologies.Taking Beijing as a case study,we construct a layered geological suitability evaluation system for development.The study advocates for future reliance on digital twin and artificial intelligence technologies to achieve"three-dimensional,resilient,and sustainable"underground transport development through multidisciplinary collaborative planning.This work also provides a technically adaptive pathway and insights for megacity underground transport planning,facilitating the deep integration of underground space utilization with high-quality urban development.关键词
