Abstract
Well PQ1 in the East Sichuan Area has achieved a high-yield industrial gas flow of 20×104 m3 in the test of the Xixiangchi Formation of the Upper Cambrian,which has opened up a new situation for the ex-ploration and development of Lower Paleozoic natural gas in the East Sichuan Area.Based on core,cut-tings,outcrop,and logging data of the Xixiangchi Formation in the study area,a systematic study was con-ducted on the reservoir characteristics and main controlling factors.The results show that the reservoir rock types of the Xixiangchi Formation are mainly granular dolomite and crystalline dolomite,and the reservoir space types are mainly karst caves,intergranular pores,intercrystalline dissolved pores,and fractures.Mul-tiple sets of dolomite reservoirs are developed in the Xixiangchi Formation,with strong physical heterogenei-ty and poor matrix physical properties.The pore structure is of the fine-pore and fine-throat type,charac-terized by small pore-throat radius and poor connectivity.The capillary pressure curve has no flat segment and shows a fine skewness.Granular dolomite serves as the material basis for the continuous post-deposi-tional modification of reservoirs.Dissolution is the key factor for the development of reservoir pores,and granular banks constitute the most favorable facies belt for reservoir development.关键词
