Abstract
This study conducts a cyclostratigraphic analysis of the Lingshui Formation in the Changchang Sag,Qiongdongnan Basin,by integrating astronomical cycle interpretation and time series analysis.Utilizing apatite fission track(AFT)dating,it investigates the correlation between stratal uplift/downwarp dynamics and sedimentation rates,establishing a high-precision chronostratigraphic scale for the Oligocene Lingshui Formation.Results indicate that the Lingshui Formation preserves distinct astronomical cycle signals.Through sedimentation rate correlation coefficient(COCO)analysis,the cycle thickness corresponding to the 405-kyr long eccentricity period is determined to be 35.0 m.Astronomical tuning reveals 12.5 cycles of this 405-kyr periodicity,spanning approximately 5.1 million years.Anchored by the Oligocene top bounda-ry age of 23.03 Ma,the estimated base age of the Lingshui Formation is 28.13 Ma.AFT and sedimentation rate curve comparisons demonstrate that during 23.03-28.13 Ma,sedimentation rates gradually decreased in conjunction with slow stratal uplift.The established chronostratigraphic scale provides critical guidance for oil and gas exploration in the Changchang Sag by enabling precise temporal correlation and reservoir characterization.关键词
