Abstract
The oilfield group of the Hanjiang Formation in the Enping Sag,eastern Pearl River Mouth Ba-sin,is classified as unconsolidated sandstone heavy oil reservoirs.The crude oil in these reservoirs features high density and high viscosity,coupled with shallow burial depth and high shale content of the reservoirs themselves.During logging while drilling(LWD),such reservoirs present characteristics of high gamma ray and low resistivity,accompanied by multiple technical challenges:difficulty in identifying thin-bedded sand bodies,low gas-oil ratio of heavy oil,and low absolute gas logging values.These issues not only hinder the establishment of effective oil-water identification charts but also lead to a lack of quantitative evaluation techniques specifically for heavy oil identification.To address these problems,this study conducts in-depth exploration of LWD and mud logging data.Firstly,it realizes rapid identification of thin-bedded sandstones by calculating the sandy index through neutron-density crossplots.Secondly,it integrates logging and mud logging parameters to construct a 3D fluid identification chart based on the abnormal multiples of PI(Pro-ductivity Index),RT(True Resistivity),and TG(Total Gas).Meanwhile,it identifies biodegraded heavy oil by utilizing the differences in hydrocarbon components from gas logging and establishes a quantitative cal-culation model for crude oil density and viscosity.Ultimately,this proposed method enables the rapid detec-tion of reservoirs,identification of fluids,and determination of fluid properties using logging and mud log-ging data during the drilling phase,thereby providing technical support for enhancing the efficiency of oil and gas exploration and development.关键词
