摘要

Abstract

To improve the furnace temperature uniformity of heat treatment furnaces and reduce nitrogen oxide(NOx)emissions,this study investigated the effects of different swirl angles on the temperature distribution and NOx emissions in a methane combustion chamber.Numerical simulations were performed on a swirl burner and a traditional fan-blade burner using ANSYS Fluent software.The influence of the secondary air swirl angle on combustion characteristics was analyzed to determine the optimal swirl angle.The results show that compared with the traditional fan-blade burner,the swirl burner significantly enhances turbulent mixing intensity through air-staged mixing strategy.Specifically,the combustion efficiency is increased by 12.8%,and the NOx emissions are reduced to 25.635 mg/m3(a reduction of 43.36%).Under specific operating parameters(excess air ratio of 1.1,swirl angle of 30°),the fuel and air achieve an optimal mixing state:the NOx emission concentration is 18.7%lower than the limit specified in the national standard(GB 13271-2014),and the furnace temperature uniformity is improved by 2.82%.This research results are applicable to scenarios with high requirements for furnace temperature uniformity and environmental performance,and can provide theoretical basis and technical reference for the low-carbon and efficient operation of heat treatment furnaces.
