Comparison and Consideration of Acupuncture at Zusanli(ST36)in Basic Research and Clinical Research
摘要
Abstract
Zusanli(ST36)is a commonly used acupoint in traditional Chinese medicine.It is widely utilized in both basic and clinical research for treating various diseases.However,it remains unclear whether the indications of Zusanli(ST36)treatment are consistent across the basic and clinical researches.This article aimed to address this gap by reviewing the relevant literature on the use of acupuncture or electroacupuncture at Zusanli(ST36)for treating diseases over the past 15 years.By establishing a com-prehensive database of Zusanli(ST36)treatment indications,the study conducted a quantitative analysis to compare and summarize the similarities,differences and patterns of treatment indications between basic and clinical researches.Furthermore,it examined the challenges in translating and applying acupuncture at Zusanli(ST36)from the basic to clinical settings,analyzing the underly-ing reasons and offering reflections.The ultimate goal was to enhance the transformation of therapeutic diseases and improve the application of acupuncture at Zusanli(ST36)from the basic research to the clinical practice.关键词
