Abstract
Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of the combined application of the first five acupoints of the neck and swallowing function training on swallowing dysfunction in stroke patients with wind-phlegm and blood stasis.Methods A total of 116 stroke patients with dysphagia due to wind-phlegm and blood stasis from August 2021 to August 2023 in department of reha-bilitation of the hospital were randomly divided into observation group and control group by regional randomization method,with 58 cases in each group.The control group was treated with swallowing function training,and the observation group was treated with penetrating acupuncture at the first five acupoints of the neck combined with swallowing function training.The changes of TCM symptoms scores,swallowing function[swallowing function assessment scale(SSA),swallow water test],disease-related bio-chemical indicators[serum brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF),serum nerve growth factor(NGF)],and nutritional status-related indicators[serum albumin(Alb),serum prealbumin(PA),serum total protein(TP),serum transferrin(TRF)]were compared between the two groups before treatment and after 14 days of treatment.Results After 14 days of treatment,the TCM symptom scores and swallowing function related indexes in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).Disease-related biochemical indicators and nutritional status-related indicators were significantly higher than those in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Penetration acupuncture at the first five acupoints of the neck com-bined with swallowing function training can significantly improve the dysphagia of stroke patients with wind-phlegm and blood stasis type,repair their damaged nerve function,improve their nutritional status and has good clinical efficacy.关键词
