Abstract
Objective To observe the effect and safety of acupoint application combined with Xiaoer Feireqing Granules(小儿肺热清颗粒)inthe treatment of children with Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia.Methods A total of 126 children with Myco-plasma pneumoniae pneumonia were enrolled in this study from January to December 2023.Among them,63 children treated with conventional western medicines were included in the control group,and the other 63 children treated with acupoint application combined with Xiaoer Feireqing Granules on the basis of the treatment of the control group were included in the observation group.After treatment,the improvement of symptoms and therapeutic effects were compared between the two groups.The changes in traditional Chinese medicine symptom scores and serum inflammatory factors before and after treatment,and adverse reactions were statistically analyzed.Results The time for fever,cough,shortness of breath and dyspnea disappearing in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group(P＜0.05).The response rate in the observation group(95.24％,60/63)was higher than that in the control group(82.54％,52/63)(P＜0.05).After treatment,the scores for symptoms,tongue manifesta-tions and pulse manifestations,and the levels of tumor necrosis factor(TNF-α),C-reactive protein(CRP)and interleukin-8(IL-8)in the two groups were reduced(P＜0.05).Meanwhile,the above indicators in the observation group were better com-pared to those in the control group(P＜0.05).The total incidence rates of adverse reactions in the observation group and the con-trol group were 19.05％(12/63)and 12.70％(8/63),respectively without statistically significant difference between the groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion Acupoint application combined with Xiaoer Feireqing Granules is effective in the treatment of children with Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia.It can promote the symptom improvement and lower the levels of inflammatory factors,with safety.关键词
