Abstract
Objective To investigate the status quo of participation of patients with advanced cancer and analyze its influencing fac-tors.Methods Convenience sampling was used to select 396 patients with advanced cancer who were hospitalized in the Department of Oncology of a tertiary grade-A hospital in Shenzhen,Guangdong Province from August 2024 to May 2025.The questionnaire survey was conducted through the General Information Questionnaire,Patient Participation Scale and Health Literacy Scale for Patients with Chronic Diseases.To analyze the influencing factors of participation among patients with advanced cancer using multiple linear regres-sion.Results The score of Patient Participation Scale for patients with advanced cancer was 81.98±6.20.Multiple linear regression analysis showed that sex,education background,date of disease diagnosis and health literacy of patients with chronic diseases entered the regression equation(all P<0.05),explaining 44.6%of the total variation.Conclusion Participation of patients with advanced can-cer is at an upper-middle level.Participation of patients is influenced by factors including sex,education background,date of disease diagnosis and health literacy.Personalized intervention programs are recommended for patients based on the influencing factors to stim-ulate their intrinsic motivation and promote participation of patients.关键词
