Evidence summary on hypothermia for cerebral protection during type A aortic dissection surgery based on multimodal monitoring

Abstract
Objective To retrieve,evaluate,and summarize evidence regarding hypothermia for cerebral protection during type A aor-tic dissection surgery based on multimodal monitoring,and provide guidance for clinical practice.Methods We searched literature from the United States Guideline Network,National Institute of Clinical Medicine Guideline Library in the United Kingdom,Interna-tional Guideline Library,and Inter Academy Guideline Network in England,UpToDate,BMJ,Cochrane Library,PubMed,Web of Sci-ence,EMbase,CINAHL,China Biomedical Database,China National Knowledge Infrastructure,Wanfang Medical Database,with a search period spanning from inception to February 2025.The types of retrieved literature mainly included clinical practice guidelines,systematic reviews,evidence summaries,and expert consensuses.Literature quality was evaluated,and the evidence was integrated.Results Seventeen articles were collected,including six guidelines,six systematic reviews,and five expert consensuses.A total of 23 pieces of evidence were summarized into five key areas of team building,preoperative evaluation,multimodal monitoring,and moderate/mild hypothermia therapy.Conclusion This study summarizes the best evidence on hypothermia for brain protection in type A aortic dissection surgery based on multimodal monitoring,and provides reference for standard clinical practice.关键词
