Abstract

As a fundamental component of terrestrial ecosystems,forest resources play an indispensable role in maintaining global ecological balance and promoting sustainable socio-economic development.However,in the process of China's industrialization,forest resources are facing severe challenges:the traditional development model can no longer meet the needs of the new era,and the forest ecosystem has been significantly impacted.Taking Sanming City as a case,this paper quantitatively assessed the synergistic effect between ecological compensation and carbon sink trading through a system dynamics modeling,and developed a tripartite evolutionary game model to examine the strategic interaction mechanism among the government,enterprises and forest farmers,so as to provide a scientific foundation for policy formulation.The results showed that:(1)System dynamics simulation revealed that under the synergistic scenario,the forest area would increase by 7.8%in 2050,5.2%higher than the baseline scenario.The carbon storage would increase by 54.4%under the synergistic scenario,37.9%higher than baseline scenario.The forest farmers'income would increase by 89.5%under the synergistic scenario,66.2%higher than baseline scenario.This indicated that the synergistic development strategy had obvious advantages in enhancing ecological and economic benefits of forest resources.(2)Game theory analysis identified that"strong supervision-high investment-joint protection"was a stable strategy combination,and key factors such as ecological compensation standards and carbon price volatility had significant impact on the equilibrium results.The innovation of this paper was that,for the first time,the system dynamics and the three-party evolutionary game model were combined to realize the quantitative analysis of the synergistic effect of ecological compensation and carbon sink trading and the in-depth analysis of the interaction mechanism of the main strategies,which broke through the limitations of a single research method.Based on these findings,policy implications were put forward:establishing a collaborative mechanism between ecological compensation and carbon sink trading,developing a governance model of"strong supervision-high investment-joint protection",and creating a dynamically adjustable policy toolkit.
