Abstract

Starch-based dynamic imine polymer(Starch-PI)was synthesized by crosslinking dialdehyde starch(DAS)with diamine through Schiff base reaction,and Starch-PI/CNFs composite film was obtained by compounding Starch-PI with nanocellulose(CNFs).The chemical structure and morphology were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR),X-ray diffraction(XRD),and scanning electron microscopy(SEM),which proved that the Starch-PI/CNFs composite film was successfully prepared.The tensile tests showed that when the mass fraction of CNFs was 2%,the composite film had the best mechanical properties.And the tensile strength,Young's modulus,and elongation at break were 23.5 MPa,326.9 MPa and 15.6%,respectively.The dynamic mechanical analysis(DMA)tests showed that the glass transition temperature(Tg)of Starch-PI/CNFs-2%composite film was 202.5 ℃.The Starch-PI/CNFs-2%composite film also possessed self-healable,shapeable,and degradable properties.
