远距离读取小型RFID抗金属标签天线设计
Design of a miniaturized RFID anti-metal tag antenna for long-range reading
摘要
Abstract
In response to the long-range identification of metallic equipment,such as containers and power cabinets,this paper proposes a miniaturized anti-metal RFID tag antenna to overcome the performance degra-dation of traditional RFID tags on metal surfaces.The design utilizes a coupled feeding mechanism and mean-dering techniques to achieve a compact form factor while ensuring excellent impedance matching.Further-more,a symmetrical dual shorting-wall structure is introduced to optimize the radiation pattern.This configu-ration aligns the surface currents to be unidirectional,thereby achieving high antenna gain.Measurement of the fabricated antenna demonstrate its excellent performance,showing impedance matching with a power transmission coefficient of 0.95 at 924 MHz.It achieves a peak gain of 1.1 dBi and a maximum reading range of 17.6 m,representing an improvement of over 24%compared to similarly sized commercial tags.Conse-quently,the proposed tag is characterized by its robust anti-metal performance,compact size,and extended identification range.关键词
