Abstract

For the purposes of water-saving irrigation,drought resistance and seedling protection,as well as reducing the application of fertilizers and pesticides,transplanting after digging pit on the plough ridges has become an indispensable and important step in the process of tobacco seedling cultivation.Aiming at the problems of low mechanization level,high labor intensity,low operational efficiency,irregular hole shape,and uneven plant spacing in the hilly and mountainous areas during the tobacco dibbling and transplanting process,this study systematically analyzes the agronomic requirements by combining the characteristics of tobacco seedling planting.It identifies dibbling and transplanting as two highly correlated core processes in the full mechanization of tobacco cultivation.Based on this,a compact four-wheel self-propelled integrated tobacco seedling dibbling-transplanting machine suitable for hilly and mountainous areas has been developed,along with a dedicated dibbling mechanism and dibbling shovel.A theoretical calculation method for hole shape along the transplanting direction and a control strategy for concentricity between the hole and seedling has been proposed.Through multiple field tests of the developed integrated machine under longitudinal and transverse slope conditions,a statistical dataset of the hole dimensions(longitudinal,transverse,and depth)has been obtained.Practical verification demonstrates that the integrated dibbling-transplanting machine fully meets the agronomic and operational requirements for tobacco seedling planting in hilly and mountainous areas.
