Realization of Humanistic Modernization of Traditional Chinese Medicine via Hermeneutic-Phenomenological Approach
摘要
Abstract
Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)is a practical science with both natural and humanistic attributes.It possesses a distinctive discourse system,disciplinary framework,and academic paradigm that have evolved from the traditional Chinese studies of classics and historiography.Consequently,in the course of its modernization,both naturalistic and humanistic approaches should be adopted.From the perspective of hermeneutics-phenomenology,it can be discerned that the Huangdi's Canon of Internal Medicine is grounded in the hermeneutic circle among"the meaning expressed by the sages-scriptures-meaning understood by physicians".With the interpreter serving as an intermediary,the scriptures are rendered accessible to the principles of heaven and earth,yin and yang,the four seasons,and clinical practices,thereby establishing methodological herme-neutics as a crucial foundation of TCM.Further-more,TCM's interpretation of all entities in the universe centered on the concept of"qi"endows its ontology with the ideological features inherent in hermeneutics-phenomenology.It is posited that the ontology and methodology of hermeneutics-phenomenology may offer a humanistic pathway that conforms to the development laws of TCM for its modernization.关键词
