Abstract

To address the unbalanced load distribution induced by gear eccentricity in precision planetary reducers,a mathematical model for eccentricity errors was established via vector decomposition.The eccentric displacement excitation was equivalently projected onto the meshing line through coordinate transformation,yielding a 21-degree-of-freedom translational-torsional coupled dynamic model that explicitly incorporates eccentricity errors.The kinetic equations were solved using the Runge-Kutta method.Utilizing the load-distribution characteristics of a single gear under various eccentric errors,the influence of multiple planetary gears on system load-sharing performance was systematically analyzed across different error configurations.The results indicate that the load-sharing coefficient increases monotonically with input speed and decreases monotonically with input torque.Proper selection of support stiffness effectively reduces the coefficient.Eccentricity of the sun gear exerts the strongest influence on load sharing;the coefficient attains its extremum when the planetary gears possess eccentric phase angles aligned with their orbital tangential direction.The combined tangential eccentricity of multiple planetary gears can be condensed into an equivalent eccentricity whose magnitude is positively correlated with both the degree of load imbalance and the individual eccentricities.
