Research Progress on Fibrillarin in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Malig-nant Tumors
摘要
Abstract
Fibrillarin(FBL)is a major nucleolar protein in eukaryotes and a crucial participant in ribosomal biogenesis.Functioning as a methyltransferase,it modifies specific bases on ribosomal RNA through methylation,thereby directly influ-encing the structure and function of rRNA.FBL is involved not only in physiological processes such as ribosomal biogenesis and maturation,apoptosis,cell cycle regulation,and DNA damage repair,but also plays a role in the development and pro-gression of various cancers,where it is closely associated with cancer prognosis.This article reviews recent studies on FBL's role in malignant tumors,aiming to further elucidate its functions in tumorigenesis and progression.The goal is to provide novel strategies for the diagnosis and treatment of these cancers.关键词
