Least-squares Gaussian beam migration with angle-domain amplitude preservation
摘要
Abstract
This paper proposes a least-squares Gaussian beam migration method based on the extraction of angle-domain com-mon image gathers to overcome the limitations of traditional seismic imaging techniques in exploring deep and complex hydro-carbon reservoirs.The method leverages the angle information carried by the Gaussian beam propagator to separate imaging contributions at different reflection angles.By integrating iterative least-squares optimization,it achieves high-resolution and amplitude-preserving imaging results.In addition,the concept of principal-axis continuation is introduced to enhance the am-plitude of shallow reflection events and compensate for missing signals in the middle and deep layers,further improving over-all amplitude fidelity in the stacked section.Model experiments verify the effectiveness of the proposed approach,demonstra-ting its superior ability to delineate complex geological structures,suppress imaging noise,and enhance amplitude preserva-tion compared with conventional Gaussian beam migration.关键词
