Calculation Method for Low-frequency Vibration of Hydro-generator Stator Based on Air Gap Harmonic Decomposition

Abstract
Low frequency vibration of the stator is common in large hydro-generators,and if the vibration amplitude is too large,it may have adverse effects on the safety of stator core and winding.In order to study effective measures for dealing with stator low-frequency vibration,the air gap magnetic permeability method is first used to derive the expression of main magnetic field of the air gap under rotor magnetic pole roundness fault based on the principle of causing stator low-frequency vibration,and then,the expression of the radial electromagnetic force density is obtained,which proves that the coupling of low-frequency harmonic components in the radial electromagnetic force and the natural frequency of stator core is the fundamental reason for the low-frequency vibration of stator in hydro-generators.Further the Fourier decomposition is performed on the air gap data of the hydro-generator to obtain the harmonic components of each order in the air gap.Based on the characteristic of one-to-one correspondence between the air gap harmonic components and the stator low-frequency vibration harmonic components,the numerical calculation of stator low-frequency vibration is achieved.Finally,based on a hydropower station project in the Lancang River Basin,the effectiveness of magnetic pole adjustment using air gap harmonic decomposition method in reducing stator low-frequency vibration is verified through actual testing.关键词
