Abstract
Under the national strategy of actively responding to population aging,age-friendly transformation is a critical issue that concerns the overall national development,the well-being of hundreds of millions of residents,and social harmony and stability.It constitutes an essential component of the urban renewal initiative in the new era.Based on a review of international achievements in age-friendly transformation and combined with the overall trends of aging and urbanization in China,this study conducts a comprehensive analysis of the practical challenges in urban development and the diverse needs of the elderly population.It further explores the interconnections between these two aspects.By drawing lessons from successful domestic and international cases of age-friendly transformation,this research summarizes and synthesizes strategies that are tailored to the practices of urban renewal in China's new era.Additionally,it proposes an implementation safeguard system to support informed decision-making by urban managers,promote the steady and orderly advancement of urban renewal,and foster the high-quality development of elderly-related affairs.This work aims to provide valuable references for policymakers and practitioners in this field.关键词
