Calculation of Lateral Deformation of the Pile-Support Structure in Deep Foundation Pit Based on Soil Stiffness Hardening

Abstract
The lateral deformation calculation of the retaining structure is an important part of the design of deep foundation pit engineering,which is often calculated by the elastic foundation beam model.However,most of the existing models are based on the ultimate earth pressure and ignore the hardening characteristics of soil stiffness si-multaneously.Taking the foundation pit project of Guanxun Station of Xiamen Metro Line 6 as an example,based on the Winkler elastic foundation beam theory framework,the nonlinear hardening characteristics of the active earth pressure and passive side soil stiffness of the foundation pit were considered,and the lateral deformation calculation method of pile-support structure was improved.By comparing with the monitoring data of foundation pit,the ratio-nality and accuracy of the proposed calculation method were verified.Furthermore,the parameter sensitivity was analyzed.The results show that the lateral displacement of the pile body calculated by the proposed method is more consistent with the in-site monitoring data than the conventional one;The flexural stiffness of the support pile has more significant impact on the lateral displacement of the foundation pit retaining structure than the axial stiffness of steel support;When the groundwater level outside the pit is relatively shallow,the lateral displacement is relatively larger.The proposed calculation method can provide a reference for the optimization of design method of the deep foundation pits engineering in soft soil.关键词
