Abstract
Objective To explore the influencing factors of labor induction failure in full-term singleton primiparas. Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on the clinical data of 198 full-term singleton primiparas who underwent regular prenatal examination and needed to be hospitalized for labor induction in Huaian Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital from June to December 2024.Univariate and multivariate logistic regression were used to analyze the influencing factors of labor induction failure. Results Among 198 primiparas,37 cases failed labor induction, and the failure rate was 18.69%.The height and cervical Bishop score in the labor induction failure group were lower than those in the labor induction successful group, while the pre-pregnancy body mass index, weight gain during pregnancy, fetal weight, and the proportion of time from induced abortion to labor≥24 hours were higher than those in the labor induction successful group(P<0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that greater gestational weight gain, heavier fetal weight, and the time from induced abortion to labor≥24 hours were risk factors for labor induction failure, while taller height and higher cervical Bishop score were protective factors for labor induction failure(P<0.05).Conclusion The influencing factors of labor induction failure in full-term singleton primiparas are gestational weight gain, fetal weight, the time from induction to labor, height, and cervical Bishop score.Targeted intervention should be carried out according to the specific conditions of primiparas to reduce the labor induction failure rate.关键词
