银额盆地居延海坳陷古近系含铀岩系的新发现及成矿意义
New discovery and metallogenic significance of Paleogene uranium-bearing series in Juyanhai depression,Yingen-Ejin basin

Abstract
The strata within 500 m depth in the Juyanhai depression is the newly discovered exploration target for Three New(New region,New horizon,New type)prospecting.Determining the age,uranium potential,paleoclimate,paleo-water environment,and uranium metallogenic setting is essential for evaluating the uranium metallogenic prospectivity of this sequence.This study analyzed trace elements,organic matter content,and total sulfur content in 56 sandstone samples of different lithology collected from 100-500 m depth within the Juyanhai depression.Elements sensitive to the depositional and metallogenic environments including U,Th,Li,Sr,Ga,V,Co,Ni,and Mo-were selected as discriminant indicators.Combined with palynological analysis of 5 grey mudstone samples,these data were used to investigate the uranium potential,depositional environment,and metallogenic setting of rock series.The research results indicate that the 100-400 m depth in the Juyanhai depression primarily comprises Paleocene-Eocene strata.Sandstone bodies are well-developed in this series,grey sandstones in primary zone exhibit high uranium content(up to 8.22×10-6)and organic matter content(up to 0.53%),indicating a newly identified uranium-bearing rock series.Concentrations of Li,Sr,Ni,Ga,and the Sr/Ba strata generally indicate a continental freshwater environment with localized brackish conditions during the Paleocene-Eocene.The w(Sr)/w(Cu)ratio and palynological analysis indicate an arid-warm temperate paleoclimate.Ratio of w(V)/w(V+Ni),w(V)/w(Cr),w(U)/w(Th),w(Ni)/w(Co),δU,and concentrations of V and Mo reveal distinct oxidation-reduction zoning within the Paleocene-Eocene series,indicating the predominance of interlayer infiltration oxidation as the uranium mineralization process.Ni and Co concentrations of different lithologies showed some exudation processes evidence,but their impact was relatively weak.关键词
