Abstract

A series of conductive polymers poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)-poly(styrenesulfonate)/polyvinyl alcohol(PEDOT∶PSS/PVA)with semi-interpenetrating network structure were prepared by using linear poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)/polystyrene sulfonic acid(PEDOT∶PSS)and cross-linked polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)with different mass ratios.The properties of the conductive polymers were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectrometer(FT-IR),Raman spectrometer,X-ray diffractometer(XRD),thermogravimetric analyzer,four-probe tester and electronic universal testing machine.The results show that PVA and PEDOT∶PSS can be well compatible in a certain range,and form a uniform morphology through hydrogen bonding.With the increase of PVA mass fraction,PEDOT∶PSS/PVA will reverse.When the mass fraction of PVA is 40%,the conductivity of PEDOT∶PSS/PVA is 1.85 S/m,the tensile strength is 16.83 MPa,and the elongation at break is 22.89%.PEDOT∶PSS/PVA can replace the wire to light a small bulb,and the resistance varies greatly with temperature,which is sensitive to temperature change.
