Spectrum sensing algorithm for non-circular signals based on spatial spectral features

Abstract
In modern communication systems,there are a large number of non-circular signals.The vast majority of spectrum sensing algorithms based on array technology ignore the characteristic that the elliptical covariance of non-circular signals is not zero,and thus fail to fully exploit this property to enhance detection performance.To address this issue,an algorithm for spectrum sensing of non-circular signals based on spatial spectrum characteristics is proposed.By utilizing the non-circular property of non-circular signals,the received signal matrix is expanded to obtain an augmented covariance matrix.A weighting strategy that does not require prior knowledge of the number of signal sources is designed to weight the entire subspace.Dimensionality reduction techniques are introduced to avoid searching for the non-circular phase,resulting in a spatial spectrum function that requires only one-dimensional angle search.Finally,the inherent central symmetry of the noise spatial spectrum is used for spectrum detection.Through complexity analysis and numerical simulations,the results show that the proposed spectrum sensing algorithm has low complexity and exhibits superior detection and direction-finding performance under various conditions.关键词
