Abstract
Objective To evaluate the efficacy of infiltration resin and micro-grinding technique in the repair of white spot lesions after orthodontic treatment.Methods 192 patients with white spot lesions on the surface of orthodontic teeth admitted to the hospital from January 2022 to December 2023 were selected and randomly divided into two groups according to the order of visiting the hospital,with 91 cases in each group.The control group was treated with microabrasion repair,and the observation group was treated with resin infiltration repair.The repair effect,lesion area ratio,microhardness of the surface of the affected teeth,aesthetic effect,aesthetic satisfaction and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of repair in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group,97.80%vs.90.11%(P＜0.05).After treatment,the lesion area ratio of the two groups decreased significantly,and the observation group was significantly lower than the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the surface microhardness(SMH)value of the two groups increased significantly and the Luminosity(L*)value decreased significantly.The SMH and L* values of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group(P＜0.05).The effective rate of aesthetic effect in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group,96.70%vs.87.91%(P＜0.05),and the aesthetic satisfaction score was better than that in the control group,92.31%vs.82.42%(P＜0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group and the control group was 5.49%and 8.79%,respectively,and the difference was not statistically significant(P＞0.05).Conclusion The effect of penetrating resin in the repair of white spot lesions on the tooth surface after orthodontic treatment is satisfactory.It can significantly reduce the lesion area and improve the microhardness of the tooth surface.The aesthetic effect and aesthetic satisfaction are high,and the safety is reliable.关键词
