Professor ZHU Ling-yun's Medication Regularity in Treating Senile Constipation Based on Real-World Research by Data Mining

Abstract
Objective To systematically analyze professor ZHU Ling-yun's medication regularity in treating senile constipation and summarize his academic thoughts by using data mining technology based on real-world research.Methods Medical cases of elderly constipation treated by professor ZHU Ling-yun at the outpa-tient department of Shanghai Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from October 2022 to May 2023 were collected,and prescription information was extracted to construct a structured prescription database.The multi-dimensional data mining analysis was conducted using the Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support System(V3.5).Results The high-frequency drugs used by professor ZHU Ling-yun in treating senile con-stipation included Shengbaizhu(Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma),Danggui(Angelicae Sinensis Radix),Dihuang(Rehmanniae Radix),Zhishi(Aurantii Fructus Immaturus)and Houpo(Magnoliae Officinalis Cor-tex).The characteristics of medicinal properties showed that the medicinal properties were mainly warm and mild,the flavors were mainly sweet,pungent and bitter,supplemented by salty and sour.The meridian tro-pisms were concentrated in the spleen,lung,stomach,heart and liver meridians.Among them,the application frequency of tonifying deficiency drugs ranked first.Association rule analysis showed that the compatibility fre-quency of Shengbaizhu-Zhishi was the highest.Four effective prescription groups were obtained through cluster analysis.Conclusion Professor ZHU Ling-yun's core idea in treating senile constipation is to"invigorate spleen for transportation,enrich body fluids to moisten dryness,and promote qi movement".His study results provide a scientific basis and clinical practice guidance for the clinical treatment of senile constipation in tradi-tional Chinese medicine.关键词
