Safety Evaluation of Magnesium Isoglycyrrhizinate Injection After Continuous Pharmaceutical Intervention

Abstract
Objective To provide a reference for the clinical safety of Magnesium Isoglycyrrhizinate Injection.Methods A total of 90 inpatients(112 long-term orders for Magnesium Isoglycyrrhizinate Injection)admitted to the intensive care unit(ICU)of the hospital from January to June 2024(before implementing continuous pharmaceutical intervention)were selected as the control group,and 83 inpatients(103 long-term orders for Magnesium Isoglycyrrhizinate Injection)admitted to the ICU of the hospital from July to December 2024(after implementing continuous pharmaceutical intervention)were selected as the intervention group.The use of Magnesium Isoglycyrrhizinate Injection in patients with severe hypokalemia,hypernatremia,heart failure,renal failure,and uncontrolled severe hypertension in the two groups was compared.Results The usage rates of Magnesium Isoglycyrrhizinate Injection in patients with renal failure and heart failure in the intervention group were 0.97%and 4.85%respectively,which were significantly lower than 6.25%and 12.50%in the control group(P<0.05).The usage rates of Magnesium Isoglycyrrhizinate Injection in patients with severe hypokalemia,uncontrolled severe hypertension,and hypernatremia in the intervention group were comparable to those in the control group(0.97%vs.0.89%,0 vs.0.89%,10.68%vs.16.07%,P>0.05).Conclusion Clinical pharmacists have achieved a certain effect in recommending clinical physicians to discontinue the use of Magnesium Glycyrrhizinate Injection in patients with heart failure and renal failure through continuous intervention on long-term medical orders of Magnesium Glycyrrhizinate Injection,but further improvement is still needed in the intervention of Magnesium Glycyrrhizinate Injection in patients with hypernatremia.关键词
