Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy and mechanism of compound acidophilus lactobacillus combined with interferon in the treatment of rotavirus(RV)infectious diarrhea.Methods Total 90 children with RV infectious diarrhea(case group)admitted to the pediatrics department of our hospital from January 2023 to December 2024 were selected and randomly divided into the combined group and the interferon group,with 45 cases in each group.Another 30 healthy children undergoing physical examinations during the same period were selected as the control group for reference of the baseline of intestinal flora.The interferon group was given conventional symptomatic support and interferon α-2b treatment,and the combined group was given compound acidophilus lactobacillus tablets on the basis of the interferon group.Both groups were treated con-tinuously for 5 days.The relief time of clinical symptoms,hospitalization time and clinical efficacy of children in the combined group and the interferon group were compared.The fecal RV load,gastrointestinal hormones[gastrin(GAS)and motilin(MTL)]and levels of inflammatory factors[tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin 6(IL-6)]before and after treatment,as well as the drug safety were compared.The number of dominant bacterial genera before and after treatment in the three groups was compared.Results The total clinical effective rate of the combined group(95.56%)was significantly higher than that of the interferon group(80.00%),(P<0.05).The diarrhea stop time,fever subsidence time,vomiting stop time and hospitalization time in the combined group were significantly shorter than those in the interferon group(P<0.05).In terms of virological indicators,the RV load in the combined group after treatment was significantly lower than that in the interferon group(P<0.05).The RV clearance rate in the combined group(84.44%)was significantly higher than that in the interferon group(64.66%),(P<0.05).In terms of intestinal flora,the numbers of Lactobacil-lus,Bifidobacterium and Bacteroides in the combined group after treatment were significantly higher than those in the interferon group,and the number of Escherichia coli was lower than that in the interferon group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the numbers of the above mentioned bacterial genera between the combined group after treatment and the healthy control group(P>0.05).In terms of serological indicators,the levels of GAS and MTL in the combined group after treatment were significantly higher than those in the interferon group(P<0.05),while the levels of TNF-α and IL-6 were significantly lower than those in the interferon group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups during treatment(P>0.05).Conclusion The combination of compound acidophilus lacto-bacillus and interferon is significantly effective in the treatment of RV infectious diarrhea.The mechanism may be related to the synergistic regulation of intestinal microecology,promotion of the recovery of beneficial flora,inhibition of virus replication and reduction of inflammatory response.关键词
