摘要

Abstract

Visual thinking refers to a mode of thinking that relies on visual imagery.The knowledge system of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)contains abundant elements of visual thinking,which are widely applied in explaining physiological activities,pathological phenomena,formula design,and diagnostic and therapeutic processes.In TCM teaching,it is essential to recognize this characteristic when designing teaching programs,to guide and regulate the ways in which visual thinking is applied in instruction.By employing modern computer technology to visualize such thinking,educators can activate students'potential for dialectical reasoning,facilitate their understanding of the textual connotations of TCM,and help them develop the ability to perform syndrome differentiation and treatment in clinical practice.
