Evidence of The Impact of Medical Service Price Reform on the Structure of Medical and Pharmaceutical Income from Sanming City

Abstract
Background The income proportion of doctors in public hospitals in China is relatively low.A medical service price adjustment mechanism is establishing to guide it into a reasonable range.Objective To analyze the changes in the structure of medical income and influencing factors in public hospitals at the county level and above in Sanming since the implementation of medical service price reform in 2013,assess the effectiveness of the reform,and provide empirical evidence for its next phase of reform.Methods Methods of degree of structural variation and grey correlation analysis were used to analyze the operation data of medical institutions in Sanming from 2013 to 2023.Results From 2013 to 2023,the structural change coefficient of medical in-come in tertiary public hospitals and secondary public hospitals was5.91％ and 5.60％,respectively.For tertiary public hospi-tals,the contribution rate of medical service income and non-medical service income was 40.83％ and 59.17％,respectively.And for secondary public hospitals,it was 44.15％and 55.85％,respectively.In 2023,the correlation between the check in-come and the structure of medical income in tertiary public hospitals in Sanming was the highest,while the correlation between the test income and the total medical income was the highest in secondary public hospitals.Conclusion The medical service price re-form in Sanming has effectively increased the proportion of medical service income,reflecting the increase in the value of technical and labor services.At the same time,the decline in the proportion of revenue from drug and consumables has created space for optimizing the revenue structure,and the reduction in inspection and laboratory income has shown the effect of controlling over-examination.关键词
