Abstract
Preauricular fistula is a common congenital disorder of the outer ear characterized by a inconspicuous opening in the skin anterior to the ascending helix.There lacks a relevant review that comprehensively summaries the genetic basis of preauricular fistula and its associated disorders.In this article,we review the clinical manifestations,histoembryology,genetics,investigation,treatment and genetic basis of preauricular fistula and its associated disorders,with the aim of facilitating comprehensive clinical diagnosis and treatment.关键词
