Abstract

The influence of different contents of amino additives on the stability and detonation performances of field-mixed emulsion explosives was studied by controlling the content of amino additives,simulating the vibration of trans-port vehicles on a vibration table,observing under an optical microscope,testing with a conductivity meter,conducting high and low temperature cycling box tests,conducting laser particle size analyzer tests,and conducting detonation velocity tests.The experimental results show that the hydrogen bonds formed by amino additives in the aqueous phase of explosives could make the structure of the emulsion matrix more stable,reduce the conductivity of the emulsion matrix,decrease the crystallization caused by vibration,and enhance the anti bumps properties of the emulsion matrix.After high and low tem-perature cycling,the emulsion matrix does not undergo any austenitic maturation or polymerization phenomena,and the par-ticle size of the emulsion matrix containing amino additives is relatively small.As the content of amino additives increases,detonation velocity of field-mixed emulsion explosives shows a trend of first increasing and then decreasing.When the mass fraction of amino additive is 0.2%,the detonation velocity is the highest,reaching4 208.5 m/s.
