Impact of digital inclusive finance on the resilience of export-oriented economy

Abstract
Digital inclusive finance can lower the threshold and cost of financial services,cover a broader range of people,improve the level of economic development,and thereby enhance the resilience of the export-oriented economy.Selecting panel data from 31 provinces(autonomous regions,and municipalities directly under the central government)in China,excluding Hong Kong,Macau,and Taiwan,for the period 2012-2023,the core variable method was employed to calculate the resilience of export-oriented economy of each province(autonomous regions,and municipalities directly under the central government).To examine the specific impact of digital inclusive finance on the resilience of export-oriented economy,a double fixed-effects model was constructed for in-depth analysis and to explore the underlying mechanisms.Empirical results indicate that digital inclusive finance and its three sub-dimensions significantly enhance the resilience of export-oriented economy,and this conclusion remains valid after a series of rigorous robustness tests;digital inclusive finance can improve the resilience of export-oriented economies in various provinces(autonomous regions,and municipalities directly under the central government)through pathways such as industrial structure optimization and technological innovation;the geographical location of a region influences the promoting effect of digital inclusive finance on the resilience of export-oriented economy.For the healthy and long-term development of China's export-oriented economy,efforts should be focused on advancing digital inclusive finance.关键词
