摘要

Abstract

The color of watermelon seed coat is related to the quality of watermelon seed,and also affects the appearance quality of watermelon cut surface.Therefore,seed coat color has become one of the breeding targets of watermelon,but its genetic regulation mechanism is still unclear.The sixth-generation population and the recombinant inbred population(F6)were obtained by crossing the brown seed coat watermelon strain K1 as the female parent and the black seed coat watermelon strain L1 as the male parent,which were used for genetic analysis of seed coat color.The seed coat color gene SCC was preliminarily located to the candidate segment of approximately 4.6 Mb on chromosome 28 800 001~33 400 001 bp,through BSA-seq.The candidate interval was narrowed to 33 681 075~33 811 331 bp(about 130 kb)by using molecular marker encryption method,and a total of 29 candidate genes in the candidate interval were predicted.The results are conducive to molecular marker assisted breeding,accelerate breeding process,and lay the foundation for fine mapping of seed coat color genes and gene editing application.More efficient and directed cultivation of new germplasm with ideal seed coat color.
