Abstract

[Objective]In order to provide useful information for revealing the molecular mechanisms of oil synthesis and fatty acid accumulation in walnut(Juglans regia),the LPAAT gene family were iden-tified from the walnut whole genome.[Method]The characteristics and functions of LPAAT gene family in walnut were analyzed and predicted by bioinformatics analysis,and the expression patterns of them were also analyzed based on the analysis data of RNA-SEQ(RNA sequencing)in the leaves of walnut seedlings under heat stress.[Result]A total of 13 JrLPAAT members were identified,encoded protein sequences ranged in size from 248 to 384 aa.Most of LPAAT proteins belonged to hydrophobic proteins,and as indicated by subcellular localization analysis,the JrPAAT gene family were primarily located on the endoplasmic reticulum.Phylogenetic analysis divided the JrLPAAT gene family into five subfamilies,with highly similar conserved domains within each subfamily.Transmembrane domains analysis indicated that all members of the JrLPAAT gene family possessed transmembrane structures.The results of cis-acting elements analysis revealed that the JrLPAAT gene family was rich in types of cis-acting elements,including various hormone regulatory,stress-responsive,and light-responsive elements.Intraspecific collinearity analysis revealed five instances of duplication.High-temperature stress expression indicated that,with the exception of JrLPAAT7 and JrLPAAT8,all other genes showed downregulation of varying degrees.[Conclusion]There are 13 JrLPAAT members in the walnut genome,and the structure of members in the same subfamily is conserved.Moreover,JrLPAAT genes are significantly affected by heat stress.
