Effects of different chemicals on deworming effect and intestinal flora of Hu sheep naturally infected with coccidia

Abstract
[Objective]To compare the deworming effect of different chemical agents in Hu sheep natu-rally infected with coccidia,and to evaluate the changes of intestinal flora after treatment,thereby pro-viding a reference for rational drug use in clinical deworming and formulation of coccidiosis control pro-gram.[Method]In this experiment,48 weaned lambs naturally infected with coccidia were randomly assigned into 8 groups with 6 lambs in each group:namely as Control group(CON),Diclazuril group(DIC),Sulfaquinoxaline sodium group(S),Sulfamethoxine sodium group(SMM),Sulfamclopyr-azine sodium group(SPZ),Decoxyquinate group(DQ),Monensin group(M)and Sulfamethoxazole group(SMZ),respectively.Saturated saline flotation method and McMaster counting method were used to detect the number of coccidia oocysts in rectal stool,calculate the relative reduction rate of coc-cidia oocysts,and analyze the daily mass gain of Hu sheep before and after administration.Fecal samples of Hu sheep collected at 0 and 21 days after administration were conducted by high-throughput sequencing to analyze the diversity of intestinal flora and the differences between groups.[Result]All the 7 chemical agents can effectively kill coccidia oocysts,but the peak period and duration of action are different among each drug.Compared with other groups,diclazuril exhibited prolonged activity and better repellent effect.At 0 and 21 days after the end of treatment,the growth promoting effect of Hu sheep in Sulfamclopyrazine sodium group and Monensin group was relatively stable,and the mass increasing effect of Sulfamclopyrazine sodium was the most obvious.On day 0 after treatment,intesti-nal flora richness and diversity of Hu sheep were decreased in all groups except the Monensin group.Among them,the intestinal flora abundance and diversity of Hu sheep in Sulfaquinoxaline sodium and Decoxyquinate groups were lower,but there was no significant difference.On 21 days after the end of administration,the intestinal microflora of Hu sheep in each administration group recovered to a level similar to that of the control group,indicating that the intestinal microflora of lambs gradually recov-ered to the normal level.In summary,the combination use of Diclazuril and Sulfamclopyrazine sodium is effective for controlling natural coccidial infection in Hu sheep.[Conclusion]In order to reduce the negative effects of coccidial drugs on intestinal flora disturbance and coccidial resistance,it is recom-mended to select appropriate chemical drugs and use them in rotation,supplemented by probiotic regu-lation and adequate nutrition to improve coccidial control.关键词
