摘要

Abstract

[Objective]To investigate the impact of incorporating pupae exuvia of black soldier fly into broiler diets and to provide a reference for the utilization of chrysalis shell in animal nutrition.[Method]A total of 240 healthy and uniform AA broilers were randomly allocated into four groups,each with three replicates and 20 broilers per replicate.The control group was received a basal diet,while the experimental groups A,B and C received the basal diet supplemented with 0.5,1.0,and 1.5 g·kg-1 pupae exuvia,respectively.The 42-day feeding trial was divided into three phases:early stage(days 1-21),late stage(days 22-42),and the entire period(days 1-42).During these phases,the average daily gain,average daily feed intake,and feed-to-gain ratio were evaluated.[Result]Com-pared with the control group,the average daily gain and feed intake of experimental group B increased by 7.37%and 4.36%,respectively.During the late and entire stages,the average daily feed intake of experimental group B increased by 5.61%and 3.61%,respectively.However,there were no statis-tically significant changes in the average daily gain or feed intake for any experimental groups during the early stage.The crypt depth of the jejunum in broilers from test group B decreased by 23.1%,while the ratio of villus height to crypt depth in the duodenum and jejunum increased by 39.7%and 35.2%,respectively.Compared with the control group,there were no statistically significant changes in villus height in the test groups.There were also no significant changes in Alpha or Beta diversity of cecal flora across all experimental groups.Group B showed increased relative abundances of Fir-micutes,Bacteroidetes,Ruminococcaceae,and Faecalibacterium and reduced abundances of Bifido-bacteriaceae and Escherichia-Shigella.[Conclusion]Adding black soldier fly pupae exuvia to the feed can effectively improve the growth performance and intestinal morphology of broilers,change the rela-tive abundance of cecal flora,and promote the absorption and utilization of nutrients and maintain good intestinal health.The black soldier fly pupae exuvia of the optimal supplemental mass fraction is 1.0 g·kg-1 in broiler diets.
