Abstract
This paper conducted a systematic study on the long-standing issue of urban flooding in the Moyang River area of Fuzhou City.The aim was to explore the most suitable comprehensive river management scheme for the local geographical environment,hydrological conditions,and urban development needs.By conducting thorough feasibility and effectiveness assessments of three primary management strategies—the diversion plan,the river widening plan,and the new pumping station forced drainage plan,the strengths and weaknesses of each strategy were scientifically compared using hydraulic models,environmental impact assessment systems,and cost-benefit analysis methods.Based on comprehensive data analysis and overall considerations,the river widening plan was determined to be the optimal strategy due to its significant advantages in enhancing flood drainage capacity,minimizing environmental damage,and controlling project costs.The research results not only provide a solid scientific basis for the Moyang River flood drainage improvement project but also offer important reference experience for the management of urban rivers in other cities facing similar inland flooding issues.关键词
