Abstract
In this paper,the basic processes,characteristics,limitations,and engineering applications of three construction methods for water conveyance pipelines crossing river channels were introduced.Combined with four river channel crossings in a specific water conveyance pipeline project,the main factors influencing the selection of the crossing method were analyzed,such as horizontal alignment,flood assessment requirements,water conveyance operation conditions,soil properties,surrounding environment,and project investment.Through comparison and selection,the open-cut method was finally determined for the crossings of the Luanle Main Canal and the Bei River,while the horizontal directional drilling(HDD)method was adopted for the crossings of the water conveyance main canal and the upper section of the Su River.The research results provide references for the selection of crossing methods for similar water conveyance pipeline projects.关键词
